An intercept parameter does not influence the log-likehood of my model after adding a new dataset

Hi Stephane,

I hope you are doing well. I am confused about this problem because the model estimation in R went well using the first part of my dataset. However, after adding the other part of the dataset, an error was reported in R, as my title states. My utility functions are written in using brackets as you suggest. Does it mean the added dataset has some problems? Can I get any advice from you under this circumstance? Many thanks!

Best wishes,
Shan

Hi Stephane,

Thank you for your reply. The problem was solved after I deleted some non-English texts and rearranged my dataset.

Best wishes,
Shan
