Hybrid model

Post by marah »

Hi Stephane,

I'm trying to estimate a hybrid choice model and am not sure what I've done wrong with the code. When it is at step apollo_speedTest(apollo_beta, apollo_fixed, apollo_probabilities, apollo_inputs, speedTest_settings), there is the error message: "Error in apollo_probabilities(b, apollo_inputs, functionality = "estimate") : object 'task' not found". I'm not sure what that means or how to fix it. Could you please help?

The code has three attributes: systemcost, management of electricity bills (with levels tenant, propertyinvestor, and thirdparty), and payment upfront (with levels upfrontyes, upfrontno and upfrontlinkedprop). I have assumed that preferences for system cost follow a log-normal distribution. To start, I have included three sociodemographic variables: respondentsolar, female, and boughttolive. For the hybrid part of the model, I have three attributes: enviroscore (which is continuous), tenure (ordered logit with seven levels), rentalprice (ordered logit with seven levels), and rentalimp (ordered logit with five levels).

The code is:

# ##################################### ... ettings)

I am using version 0.2.7 of Apollo.

Thanks,

Mara

Hi Mara,

Sorry, for some reason I can't see your code. Would you mind copying it again?

Thanks
David
